I am so proud of Sam, he is doing AWESOME!!! Yesterday he went all day without one accident, well...he pooped in his underwear, but that was it!!! I am so excited! He is not to the point where he says that he has to go, but when I tell him he needs to try and go tee-tee, he does. He have even graduated to the big toilet. This morning we went to Target to get a toy because he is doing so well. Of course he picked another McQueen car. His daddy told him he could get two cars if he poops in the toilet today. We will see what happens. But I am so happy, he is doing great!!!
As a little break from the potty training yesterday, we went outside and the boys played in the water. Here are a few pictures of them enjoying outside.

that's great news on potty training.
i second that boys can definitely make cookies too!
as for the antique show we are always there, every april and october. it originally started in roundtop but the first booths to be set up in warrenton were on his grandparents' property. we serve food at it and are at zapp hall. you should come to it! it is awesome.
I hope I can remember all your questions. So here it goes...I think it is fine to put him a pull up to go out. I would for sure still take him regularly. If he says he needs to potty I would always take off running. Basically drop everything and run. Then reward them heavily fo telling you that he needed to go. Because ulitmately you want him to do that and not you have to remind him all day. As far as poop is concerned...YIKES. Not sure what to tell you. Does he have a schedule with his poop? Like does he usually go some time after lunch or does he have a hiding place that he likes to go to? I would just watch for anything that would clue you in as to when he needs to go and then run and take him. Parden my language but there isn't great way to say this but even if he has a turtle head or has already started and you catch him the act I would try to run him to the potty and get him to finish there. I would also make it a little bit about obedience because I knew my boys understood what they were doing and what I wanted them to do. Sorry for all the potty talk. It sounds like ya'll are well on your way. Don't get discouraged if you have a bad day after several good days that can be normal. Just be consistant. Hope ya'll have a great day! Please free to ask me anymore questions :). I always have a million when I embark on something new.
Ok that pic of Micah standing there by himself is completely you!!!! Beautiful boys! I am so proud of Sam. Tell them their FAV Auntie Joni loves them:)
Oh my gosh -- those pics of "potty training" are HILARIOUS!!!!
Hi there! I was a friend Of Wes's in college through AFC, and saw your blog through your comments on Sheridan's! I am also the mother of two boys, so I understand how frustrating it can be! My youngest, Carson, took forever before he finally went poop in the potty! Trace trained on M&M's, but Carson doesn't like candy, or anything. I tried everything! I finally agreed to get him a cookie from the American cookie company at Baybrook mall each time he pooped in the potty! Then the next day, (at 3 years and 2 months exactly....) he didn't even tell me he was going to the bathroom, but he called me from there and screamed, "Mommy.. I am pooping... now can we go get a cookie?" I jumped up from my load of laundry, ran in there, and we went straight to the mall and got his cookie. He went again that night, and we went back to the mall for a cookie! Then the next day I told him that he could get a cookie after pooping 4 times in the potty, so two days later we got another cookie. I haven't had any other problems since! It just takes finding the perfect motivater, but it sounds like you are doing a great job!! Just be consistent, and always respond to every attempt!!! Hang in there!
