This Week

So, this week we are without Daddy. Wes went backpacking in Big Bend.
He needed some time by himself now that he is done working at Academy Sports.
We really miss Daddy!!!
But we are surviving without him...

This week at the boys school it is Texas/Rodeo week...
my boys are all cowboys in this house and we LOVE the rodeo.
So the boys were pretty excited to start the week.

Here are the boys ready for school on Tuesday...LOVE the matching pearl-snap shirts!

Then it snowed on Tuesday when the boys got home...crazy that we have had
snow 3 times this winter! The boys were trying to catch the snow.

Wes got the boys these matching pjs...

now do you know why? It doesn't really open though!

We were watching the Olympics and this was their bobsled.
The other night they got their placemats with tape and tried to make skis.
Pretty creative if you ask me!

Micah was hiding from the monsters in his room, and fell asleep like this.
Sweet boy!!!

Today was dress up day...and we were ready!
I love my little cowboys!

Sam is wearing my dad's hat...and it fits him!

They had a great day at school! Sam had trail mix and a hayride,
he was beaming when I picked him up.
After I picked them up we saw the trail riders on their way to the rodeo,
so we pulled over and got out.
The boys just waved and loved every minute of seeing the real cowboys on horses.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day!!

We started a new tradition at our house this year:
Stupid Cupid
It is a tradition that was started by Katie's mom when she was little.
Being Katie's roomie for all of college, I was able to experience
Stupid Cupid several years. Such a cute idea!
So this year, with Mrs. Becky's approval, I decided to start the
tradition at our house. So fun!!!
I decorated our dining room with everything red and pink,
and then fixed everyone their favorite breakfast.
Then at each place everyone had a little gift.
They boys loved it!

When I woke up this morning I had a gift from my valentine,
roses and the most beautiful poem.
It has been about year since Wes has written me a poem.
I love when he writes poems for me...it is my favorite gift from him!

Here are the boys following the heart confetti trail left by the cupid

Micah got a spiderman hat

Sam's favorite breakfast: blueberry muffins
Wes got this book full of nothing but pictures of him and the boys.
And on each page was a reason why the boys love him.
The boys came up with the reason so it was pretty cute!
Sam made us this card at school, so sweet!
I love that he wrote everything by himself!

The loves of my life!

Hope you have a wonderful Valentine's Day!!!

On Thursday the boys had their Valentine's parties at school.
Of course they had to wear their v-day shirts.
They each took valentines for all their friends and

They really do love each other SO much!

Here they are after school looking at all their valentines.

GiGi and Sir

GiGi and Sir, my in-laws, came in town last week.
We didn't do much, but it was still a good weekend.
Wes and I were able to sleep in both days, which is always a great thing!

Micah loves his Sir!

We went to the park for a little bit, but then Sam fell in the mud...
so it was cut a little short.
Here are some picture while we were there:

We love you GiGi and Sir!
