Welcome to Camp GiGi 2009

GiGi is my mother-in-law and we are at her house this week for Camp. This is the second year for Gwynne to do Camp GiGi. She has 5 grandsons and the oldest is 5 years old, so this is a great week with all the boys together. We arrived today to a huge sign out from letting us know that we had made it to Camp GiGi. Sam and Micah were so excited! In the backyard she had two huge tents set up and on the back porch lots of tables and supplies ready to start camp. The other campers(cousins) did not arrive until around 6.

After dinner, we started orientation. Gwynne had shirts and hats made for the boys and for the staff (the mommies and daddy, Chris is helping this year). The boys could hardly wait. She told them how they would be learning about Noah's Ark this year. So she read the story and tried to get all 5 of them to sit still.

Sam and Esan wanted to hug the whole time.
They were so cute how they were so excited to see each other.

They just couldn't stop loving on each other.

Tracing their footprints for a lesson tomorrow.
Gwynne does such a great job with teaching the boys,
I can't wait to see what she does all week!

Stay tuned for more to come from Camp GiGi...
