We have done this several years in a row, and just love getting to help another child for Christmas. We let each of the boys pack a shoe box for another child that gets sent somewhere in the world. We took them to the store and let them pick out everything for their child.
Then went home and tried to get it to all fit in the shoe box. (That was the hard part)

Both Micah's school and our church helps with this organization.
