First Fall

Sam has been doing awesome riding his bike without training wheels.
But today we had a our first fall. It was a big one.
He was hysterical, of course and after we came inside he was asleep within minutes.

He hurt his head, lip, chin, and knees.
His lip was the worst part. It was black within minutes.

I didn't let him sleep long, wasn't sure that was a good idea.

After he rested some, he was ready to get back on his bike.
He was scared...but kept saying "I know I can do this, I know I can do this!"

And he did it!!!

Little brother was there for support

It looked bad for a few days, but finally healed just fine.

I am proud of you, Sam!
