Camping

We took the boys on our first camping trip, just the 4 of us.
Wes booked the reservations and thought it was going to be a few hours from our house.
It was 6 HOURS away!!! So, when we got there I was not in the best of moods.
We put our tent up in the dark and trying to get the boys asleep as fast as possible.
I was just hoping that it would not be raining when we woke up.
The next morning the weather was perfect. Here are the boys starting our fire.

I was scared it was going to be raining later.

Then we decided to take a little hike while the weather was still nice.
It was a 3 mile hike round trip.

But this is what was at the end of the hike...

After we got back from our hike, we had lunch and then decided to take a nap.
Just as we got into the tent it started to rain,not hard,
but enough that after 15 minutes...our tent was leaking!
Great! We decided to talk to the front desk and found out that the rain
was not going to stop any time soon. So...we packed up and headed home.
Our 19 hour camping trip turned out to be LOTS of fun!
We wish it could have lasted longer, but was worth the drive in the end.
The boys loved it and can't wait to go again!
